Thursday September 9, 2021 professor Birthe Dinesen gave an online lecture on the Danish Healthcare system and telehealth in Denmark for Master students and Phd students at Sct Lukes International Hospital in Tokyo.

The students had also prepared a lectures on the Japanese Healthcare system. It was a very fruitful session with good discussions.

It is hard to see or predict the end of coronavirus problem. Under these circumstances, the society pay more attention to Telemedicine and Tele-rehabilitation. This webinar focuses on the new initiatives/technologies that accelerate Telemedicine and make people continue Tele-rehabilitation with a joy. Also be touched upon the Japanese companies’ challenges in the Era of post-corona. In addition, we would like to introduce what JD Teletech has done so far.

Listening to the new ideas or difficulties from many of the participants (as many as possible), we hope this webinar could be an opportunity of investigating other new initiatives in the Era of Post-Corona.

JD TeleTech was established in April 2019. Since then, JD TeleTech has organized roundtables and workshops in Japan as well as in Denmark. JD TeleTech is going to continue these activities in both countries.

Lessons from the Field

This Web Forum highlights strategies for rapid onboarding of telehealth staff, with a specific focus on critical issues for engaging health care staff in response to COVID-19. Presenters will also discuss practical strategies, tips and case studies for organizations to use to improve patient engagement for telemedicine services.

The JD TeleTech will have the next workshop in Japan in connection with the 25th ISfTeH International Conference October 8-10, 2020.

JD TeleTech has had the 4th workshop on ehealth December 2-6 2019 in Tokyo in collaboration with Invest in Denmark and the Royal Danish Embassy in Tokyo. A Danish delegation of companies, researcher and healthcare professionals participated.

It was an amazing week where we gained new knowledge on the Japanese healthcare system and ehealth, made MOU with Jutendo University & Hospital, agreements with companies, two fruitful roundtables on “children and ehealth” and “elderly and ehealth” with over 130 participants and new ideas for collaboration between Japan and Denmark on ehealth.

The JD TeleTech Network has its next workshop December 2-6 2019 in Tokyo.

The Foreign Ministry of Denmark, The Royal Danish Embassy in Tokyo, Tokyo Trade Council are collaborating with the JD TeleTech Network on making the program for the workshop. There will be visits to hospitals, nursing homes on elderly care, companies within eHealth and robotics and roundtables with stakeholders within the field, e-posters, etc.

The preliminary program will be posted at this homepage early September. Please stay posted.
